Jamie’s Carmel Brownies


1 German Chocolate cake mix
1 stick of butter or margarine, melted
1 small can of PET Evaporated milk
1 6-ounce bag of chocolate chips
1 14-ounce bag of Kraft caramels
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease a 9X13 inch pan.
Empty cake mix into large bowl.
Pour into mix 1/3 cup of Pet milk and the melted butter.
Combine and then take ½ of the cake mixture and put into the prepared pan.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Unwrap the caramels and put into a bowl with the remaining 1/3 cup Pet milk and microwave at 3 ½ minutes.
When the cake is done, take from the oven, sprinkle the chocolate chips onto the cake, and pour the melted caramel on top.
In small sections, pat out the rest of the cake mixture and lay on top of the caramel.
Continue until all the cake mixture is finished.
Put back into oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Cool. Cut. Enjoy!
