1 large can peach halves

1 large can pear halves

1 small can peeled apricots

1 20oz can pineapplechunks

10 (or more) maraschino cherries

2 bananas cut in chunks added at last minute before cooking

1/3 cup melted butter

3/4 cup well-packed brown sugar

(note: if fruit is in heavy syrup use 1/2 c brown sugar

2 teaspoons curry powder

1 to 2 tablespoons corn starch
Drain first four fruits and combine in 9x13 pan. Stir in banana chunks. Arrange cherries throughout. Mix dry ingredients and sprinkle over top. Pour butter over all. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour. Cool and refrigerate. Rewarm before serving at 350 for 1/2 hour. Serves 8 to 10 people.
Note: This is a hot, colorful and fruity dish which dresses up holiday meals. It can be made the day before, and is a crowd pleaser!
