Dutch Donder

AKA Curry Cabbage and Potatoes

 

Ingredients

Curry Powder, to taste

1 head of green cabbage, chopped

2 cups cheddar cheese

2 lb. ground beef

Instant mashed potatoes

Butter and milk for the mashed potatoes, measurement as directed

 

Directions

Brown gound beef.  Sprinkle with curry powder to taste while cooking.  Drain meat. 

Boil chopped cabbage until soft.  Sprinkle the water with curry powderwhile it is boiling.

Make 12 servings of instant mashed potatoes as directed on packaging.

In a large casserole dish layer the ground beef, cabbage, and mashed potatoes.

Sprinkle the cheese on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until cheese bubbles.
