Annie's 'Lovey' Brownies

Ingredients:

2 sticks of butter

4 oz.of unsweetened chocolate

          coarsely chopped

2 cups of  sugar

4 eggs

1 tablespoon of vanilla

1 cup of flour

1/2 tablespoon of salt

1 cup (generous) pecans

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly grease and flour a 13'' X 9'' pan.  In a large sauce pan heat butter over moderately low heat until half melted.  Add chocolate and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in sugar with wooden spoon til incorporated using wooden spoon.  Using wooden spoon, beat in eggs one at  a time stirring after each addition until eggs are fully incorporated and the chocolate mixture is shiny.  Stir in vanilla.  Add flour  and salt all at once and mix until blended.  Stir in nuts.  Scrape batter into pan.  Bake 30 minutes.
